At about 6-foot-1, Carr is a combo guard who gets a lot done. He went for 30 plus points in both of his games, and scored the ball in a variety of ways. First Carr showed his impressive ability to get to the rim, then he mixed in mid-range shots, and he finished it off by hitting from deep. Add in that Carr is an extremely good passer, and he is someone who creates not only for himself, but for others as well. It was an impressive day for a prospect that wasn’t tracked by the hoard of college coaches in attendance. Recruiting wise Carr listed offers from Virginia Tech and Houston. Also he is hearing from Vanderbilt, Notre Dame, Oregon, and a host of others. Carr will transfer to Montverde (Fla.) Academy for next season.
