Yoeli Childs cuts list to five schools
Utah Prospect guard Yoeli Childs told Scout he has narrowed his list of schools to five. Childs, a standout at South Jordan (Utah) Bingham is now down to Auburn, Boise State, BYU, Vanderbilt and Princeton. “I sat down with my coach and my mom and the people helping with my decision,” Childs said. “I took things such as environment, education and things that are important to me and ordered them out.” “These schools showed that they love me and showed that they really want me,” he added. “They are all schools that I could get a good education at too.” What’s next in the process for Childs? “I plan on taking my visits in August and early September and then deciding before high school season and sign during the early signing period in November,” he said. Of his finalists, Childs, a 6-foot-7 bruising big man that’s known for his energy on the court, has visited Boise State and BYU unofficially.
