Simi Shittu making move to states
adidas Nations' Team Canada squad had a talented 2018 prospect who is making the move to the states for his sophomore season. Simi Shittu, a 6-foot-9, 210-pound power forward, will play for Montverde (Fla.) Academy next season and will be entering the USA with a big reputation. "I can handle the ball, get my teammates involved, score, defend and rebound," Shittu said. "I'm working on a consistent jumper." The rising sophomore holds offers from Virginia Tech, New Mexico, Baylor, Illinois and Kansas State with Oregon and Notre Dame also recruiting him. Shittu has three schools he hopes he hears from. "Kentucky, Duke and North Carolina," he said. When Shittu gets serious about his recruitment, he has an idea of what he'll be looking for. "I'm looking for the best fit; somewhere that will let me play my game," he said. "I want somewhere I can see myself at for four years."
