Richard Washington commits to Wake Forest
Danny Manning added the second pledge to his 2016 recruiting class on Saturday. Rich Washington, a wing out of Williamsburg (Va.) Walsingham Academy Upper School, committed to Wake Forest, he told Scout. "Manning's style of play fits me best," Washington said when asked bout his commitment. Washington also considered scholarship offers from William & Mary and East Carolina. "[They have a] great group of guys," he said. "Loved the coaches." Washington, a three-star prospect, ran with Team Loaded Virginia during the spring and summer circuit. With the addition of Washington, Wake Forest now has a pair of commitments in the 2016 class. He joins guard Brandon Childress to make up their current class.
