Seattle PF Alphonso Anderson adding attention
One of the West Coast's breakout players in July was 6-foot-6, 215-pound Seattle Garfield power forward Alphonso Anderson. The 2016 prospect is an old school power forward who can score with his back to the basket or face up. He's a physical player who competes inside and rebounds well on both ends. Anderson listed Boise State, San Diego, Portland State, Montana, Pepperdine and Utah State as offers, along with Washington and California as the schools showing interest. "Right now I feel all of them really want me," Anderson said. Playing for a competitive program will be important for Anderson. "I want to go somewhere I can play," he said. "I want to get to the NCAA tournament; that's a big goal of mine."
