Immanuel Quickley is making strong impression

Class of 2018 prospect Immanuel Quickley made a big impression in July and earned a high-major offer.

It is still very early for prospects in the class of 2018, but one kid who is already emerging on the East Coast is Immanuel Quickley. The Baltimore native shined with Baltimore Elite during the summer, and more and more college coaches are beginning to take note of his game.

“I think I had a good summer,” said Quickley. “I scored the ball well and got my teammates involved, so overall it was a good summer and I think I got better.”

Though he is still very young, and has plenty of time to refine his game, Quickley says he has focused on really picking things up in a few areas.

“I have focused on getting stronger and being a better defender on the help side as well as on the ball,” noted Quickley. “Also I have worked on my point guard skills.”

Recruiting wise a lot of schools have begun to show significant interest in Quickley.

Washington, Cincinnati, South Florida, South Carolina, Wake Forest, Duke, Syracuse, and there are other schools as well,” noted Quickley.

Quickley picked up his first high-major offer during the month of July at the Live in AC event and it came from the Cincinnati Bearcats.

About the offer Quickley said, “I just got offered by Cincinnati. It was a surreal feeling to get an offer from them, and it showed that my hard work is paying off.”
