Elite 24: Trevon Duval

NEW YORK CITY - Class of 2017 point guard Trevon Duval was not only one of the youngest, but one of the best players at the Elite 24 practice.

It has been a tremendous summer for five-star point guard Trevon Duval. Though he is one of the younger players at the Elite 24 game, Duval definitely stood out with his play.

All during the practice it looked like Duval was in complete control of his team. Duval was running the show, making shots, and finishing at the rim with athleticism. Beyond that Duval proved that he could defend any player in the game, and was clearly one of the most complete players in the building.

While Duval might not have the ideal alpha dog personality, he does clearly show an ability to lead from the point guard spot, and that is huge. He showed some good leadership skills and was vocal throughout the practice and looked locked in not only during the scrimmage but during the drills and instruction as well.

With his combination of athleticism and size for the position, Duval has quickly made himself a favorite of the NBA personnel in attendance to go along with the college coaches who saw him all July long.

Syracuse, Villanova, Oregon, Indiana, Arizona, Connecticut, Maryland, Louisville, Pittsburgh, North Carolina, UCLA, and St. John’s are just some of the schools making Duval a major priority already.
