On Friday, Pritchard, a standout at West Linn (Ore.) High, committed to Dana Altman and Oregon over interest Oklahoma, who was at one time committed to, Oregon, Michigan, Arizona State, California, Wisconsin, Villanova and others.

“[I] wanted to stay and play for my state and I have a really good relationship with coach Altman,” Pritchard told Scout.

How pivotal was it to stay home?

“Pretty big,” he added.
