Two in front for Justice Kithcart

The race for super-quick guard Justice Kithcart has intensified since the conclusion of the travel season. The North Carolina native, who preps in Virginia, continues to field new interest this fall.

Justice Kithcart has drawn new suitors and scheduled a pair of official visits for this month. The explosive combo guard made numerous fans among college coaches during July, and the hard work has paid off with incoming interest and offers from major conference schools.

Pittsburgh has offered and been a consistent presence in his recruitment. The Panthers will receive a visit in two weeks, while Memphis has emerged recently and will host Kithcart on Sept. 25.

The Tigers haven’t yet offered but presumably will soon, given their amplified interest, and they’re also expected to visit Kithcart at Lynchburg (Va.) Virginia Episcopal this week. Meanwhile, Tennessee has entered the recruitment and is expected to conduct a visit at school this week as well.

TCU is another newcomer. The Horned Frogs will join the in-school visit procession and also meet with Kithcart’s parents in N.C. on Thursday.

”No offers yet (from the new schools), they all got on him late and want to see him one more time,” Kithcart’s father, James, said.

A lot can change very quickly, especially with so much activity this week, but two schools have made the strongest impressions thus far.

”He hasn’t narrowed his list down yet, but Pitt and Memphis are the frontrunners at this point,” the elder Kithcart said. “They both want him to come in and play right away, and that’s what he wants.”
