"I decided to commit beause of the warm welcome from the staff," said Moore. "I received a lot of love from the coaches, my future teammates, and the entire university. I just knew it was the right place." Moore made the commitment to Temple over interest from schools such as Massachusetts, Georgia Tech, Seton Hall, Penn State, and Rhode Island.
Alani Moore makes his pick
Already the Temple Owls had a very good piece to the puzzle in the backcourt with the pledge of Quinton Rose, and on Sunday they added to it in a big way. Three-star point guard Alani Moore picked the program over significant other interest. Moore, who only goes about 5-foot-9, is a gifted scorer from the position who also has a good feel for the game. What he lacks in height and athleticism, he makes up for with his toughness and competitive nature. On his official visit to the school Moore saw what he needed to make his commitment.
