Bryce Peters commits to Colorado

Colorado picked up a sleeper in California on Monday as Bryce Peters committed to the Buffs.

Colorado has had success recruiting Southern California under Tad Boyle and the Buffs looked to continue that streak on Monday by picking up a wing out of the Inland Empire.

Bryce Peters, a 6-foot-3, 190-pound shooting guard out of La Verne (Calif.) Damien, committed to the Buffs after officially visiting Boulder this weekend.

“I felt like I was already part of the team as soon as I got there,” Peters said. “There was nothing but positive energy flowing and the players and I meshed real well, like we’ve known each other for years.

“I felt a part of the CU family the whole visit and they showed me nothing but love and respect.”

Peters also considered schools as Wyoming, UNLV and Grand Canyon.
