Alabama snags JUCO guard
Avery Johnson and his staff are working hard to re-build a strong roster, and their latest addition comes from the junior college ranks. Well thought of guard Ar'Mond Davis has committed to the SEC school. "Truly blessed to be committed to the University of Alabama," announced Davis. "I love coaches and players." Davis is expected to play on the wing next to five-star prospect Terrance Ferguson who picked the Crimson Tide earlier in the fall. Originally Davis committed to Memphis, but he then backed out of the pledge and re-considered his options. Along with the Tigers, Texas and Texas A&M had interest in Davis, but following an official visit to Alabama Davis chose the Crimson Tide. Davis averaged 10.9 points per game in his freshman year in junior college.
