Some key official visitors will be on campus this weekend

Some key official, and unofficial, visits are set to take place this weekend. A lot of eyes will be focused on the prospects attending Indiana, Texas, Duke, Louisville, Auburn, and many others as this visit weekend kicks into high gear.

Another big weekend of hoops visitors is upon us. While not as star studded as last week’s visit list, still a lot of big names are on the road, and we could see some commitments come from the weekend.

Down on The Plains in Auburn things are going to be very interesting this weekend. Five-star Edrice Adebayo will be making his official visit along with point guard commitment Jared Harper. Add in an unofficial trip from five-star 2017 Auburn legacy Austin Wiley, and this is one of the biggest recruiting weekends in Auburn in quite some time.

Also the Kentucky Wildcats have a huge visitor this weekend as Wenyen Gabriel makes his trip to Lexington. The top 10 prospect has already seen Duke and Maryland, and Kentucky is considered a serious contender for his services.

Across the state in Louisville, the Cardinals are also hosting one of their key targets. Along with five-star commitment V.J. King, Louisville has De'Aaron Fox coming in. Fox is the top point guard in the country, and has been a priority recruit for the Cardinals since the beginning of July.

Looking in the Big Ten, Michigan has a key group of visitors. Brendan Bailey is on his official visit, and then class of 2017 prospects Jordan Poole and Jaren Jackson are both making their unofficial trips to Ann Arbor. It is possible that Michigan will begin extending offers this weekend to 2017 prospects as they make it to campus.

The Indiana Hoosiers are also having a key weekend. One of their premier targets is on campus as De'Ron Davis will make the trip east from Denver to see what the Hoosiers have to offer. Davis is one of the top interior prospects on Indiana’s board right now.

Another visit to keep a close eye on is in Durham as Javin DeLaurier visits Duke. Duke has really turned up the heat recently, and DeLaurier moved up his visit with the Blue Devils. It seems like Duke has some momentum in this recruitment.

Beyond that the Texas Longhorns host a key weekend as well. Shaka Smart has long made Braxton Key one of his top targets, and now the four-star forward will make it to campus. Also Clevon Brown will be in Austi4n as well highly thought of 2017 guard R.J. Nembhard.

Some of the other top visitors this weekend include Seventh Woods at North Carolina, Xavier Sneed to Xavier University, Taurean Thompson to Syracuse, Jaylen Fisher to Memphis, James Banks is likely to make an unofficial visit to Illinois, Tyson Carter to Arizona State, Eddie Ekiyor to Florida, Jonah Mathews to Gonzaga, Brison Gresham and DeJon Jarreau to UMass, Jayce Johnson to California, Vance Jackson to Connecticut and Schnider Herard to Texas Tech.
