Oregon gets on the board with four-star M.J. Cage

Oregon adds a key piece to their 2016 recruiting puzzle with four-star center M.J. Cage.

NBA legacy M.J. Cage has made his college decision. The four-star center from Los Angeles made his official visit to Eugene, and now he is a member of the Ducks program.

"Yes I have committed to Oregon," said Cage about his pledge. "I just liked everything about the school and felt comfortable there."

At 6-foot-10 with skill, Cage had an excellent July while running with Mater Dei on the AAU circuit. He has long been considered one of the better long term post prospects in the class of 2016.

Now he will make his home in the Pac 12 after picking Oregon over significant interest from schools all over the West Coast.

Look for Cage to come in and compete right away for early minutes. He can run the floor, has skill out to 15 feet, and has the frame and size necessary to compete on the glass. With Oregon needing help on the frontcourt this is a big pledge for them as the Ducks continue to try and load up with a quality 2016 class.
