Breein Tyree lands in the SEC
The Ole Miss Rebels have snagged another hoops pledge, this one coming from three-star point guard Breein Tyree. The fast and athletic Tyree shined on the Under Armour circuit for Sports U, and is now headed to the SEC. “I would like to announce that I am officially committed to the University of Mississippi,” announced Tyree. This is a big pledge as Tyree picked the Rebels over Massachusetts and Kansas State. The 6-foot-2 Tyree really opened eyes in the summer when he took his game to a new level. Over the summer Tyree averaged 10.1 points per game for Sports U while shooting over 40 percent from deep. However the best part of Tyree’s game is his ability to get to the rim and his big time athleticism. With his strength he can finish through defenders, and also he has the ability to finish above the rim. For a school that loves to utilize their guards, this is a big time pledge for the Rebels, and Tyree is someone who should be able to come in right away and produce.
