Josh Okogie commits to Georgia Tech

Brian Gregory and Georgia Tech added their third pledge of the 2016 class.

2016 guard Josh Okogie verbally committed to Georgia Tech on Tuesday, he announced on his Twitter page.

Okgoie, a standout at Snellville (Ga.) Shiloh, picked the Yellow Jackets over strong interest from Kansas State and Tennessee.

Brian Gregory and his staff now have a trio of commitments in the 2016 class. Okogie joins top 100 power forward Romello White and wing Chrisitan Matthews to make up their current class.

Through 24 games in the Nike EYBL playing for Team CP3, Okogie, a 6-foot-4 guard, averaged 10.6 points and 4.5 rebounds a game.

Okogie is regarded as a three-star prospect.
