2018 Compton (Calif.) SG Wayne Arnold hearing from Pac-12, MWC

Wayne Arnold is one of the top 2018 shooting guard prospects on the west heading into his sophomore year. He's already hearing from a few Pac-12 and Mountain West programs.

Compton (Calif.) Dominguez has a talented 2018 shooting guard in Wayne Arnold.

The sophomore is slight but has decent size, long arms and is a big threat to hit jumpers off the dribble, especially from midrange.

"I play defense, hit pull-up jumpers and can attack the basket," Arnold said. "I'm working on getting my handle better."

So far, Arnold has received an offer from Nevada and interest from California and USC.

Arnold broke down what he likes about all three schools.

Nevada: "I like them because I like Las Vegas."

California: "They have a beautiful campus. If you graduate from there you can get a good job."

USC: "That's right by my house so I would be close to my parents."

Academics will play a large role in Arnold's ultimate decision.

"I want somewhere that I can get a good education," he said.
