Five-star power forward T.J. Leaf took his final scheduled official visit to UCLA this past weekend.
"It was good," Leaf said about his visit. "I had a good time there."
"I don't know if there was one thing that stood out the most," he added. "The whole visit was pretty good as a whole."
Leaf, who is also considering Oregon and San Diego State, said over time he's developed a strong bond with UCLA coach Steve Alford.
"Me and coach Alford have a very good relationship," Leaf said. "It was good just getting to spend more time with him."
While the visit portion of his recruiting process done, Leaf hasn't finalized a time for when he wants to make his college choice.
"Not at this point," he said when asked if he'd decided on a decision date. "Just whenever I'm ready."
Will he definitely decide during the early signing period?
"I'm not even sure," Leaf repsonded. "Not going to rush anything."
Leaf, a standout at El Cajon (Calif.) Foothills Christian, was originally an Arizona pledge, but backed off that commitment in early August.
Over the summer, Leaf played for Etop Udo-Ema's Compton Magic team and also competed with Israel's U18 team in the B Division of the European Championships this summer. He averaged 16.1 points and 8.4 rebounds through nine games in the event.
