Kent State gets major steal in B.J. Duling

Kent State got on the board in the class of 2017 with a major commitment.

It was a breakout sophomore season for B.J. Duling. The class of 2017 standout showed versatility, athleticism, and upside all throughout the year and he continued it into the spring with All-Ohio Red. On Thursday night Duling made the call and committed to Kent State.

"Thankful and proud to announce that I have committed to Kent State," announced Duling.

At 6-foot-6, Duling has the ability to play either forward spot and was even getting high-major looks. Schools such as Xavier, Dayton, Iowa, and others were already heavily involved with Duling, but he decided that Kent State was the place for him.

This is the first commitment for Kent State in the class, and it could be the biggest of any Mid-American Conference school in the entire recruiting cycle.
