Three-star wing Brandon Cyrus has had a big spring. The La Lumiere guard is healthy and in a position to standout, and now he is making visits and continuing to add offers.
Most recently Cyrus made a visit to DePaul. The Blue Demons offered him in the fall after seeing him at open gym, and it was a good visit for Cyrus.
“The visit to DePaul was great,” said Cyrus. “What really sold to me was the idea of playing in the Big East and coming in and being able to play right away. I loved the campus and the city feel it had to it.”
He continued about the trip, “Another aspect of the visit I liked were the people involved in the program, such as the athletic director who has been involved with the school for 40 years and who showed a genuine care for me and my family. Also the coaching staff is a big sell for me because I felt a connection to each of them and felt like they cared about my future.”
The visit to DePaul was followed up with an offer from Texas A&M. The Aggies have had a lot of success on the recruiting trail lately, and Cyrus is happy to get another big offer.
“With my recent Texas A&M offer it is just a testament to how hard I've worked to come back from my knee surgery,” said Cyrus. “It's a big time school in the SEC and it means a lot for them to offer me.”
When it comes to any other future visits, Cyrus said, “And I don't have any visits planned as of right now but there is a chance I will have one coming up in the next couple weeks I just have to decide where”
For now Cyrus isn’t putting a timeframe on making a decision.
