Kobie Eubanks commits to Texas A&M

Kobie Eubanks, a four-star guard, commits to Texas A&M and will enroll at the semester break.

Four-star guard Kobie Eubanks verbally committed to Texas A&M on Monday, he told Scout.

A 6-foot-5, strongly built guard, Eubanks was a member of the 2015 recruiting class and will join the Aggies at the semester break. Eubanks picked Texas A&M over interest from Baylor, Georgetown and a host of other schools.

Eubanks signed with Alabama in the spring, but the two parties went their separate ways when the school failed to admit him as the first semester was beginning.

As a senior high school Eubanks was committed and actually signed with Baylor, but due to transcript complications was forced into a post graduate season at Delray Beach (Fla.) Elev-8 Prep.

Eubanks is a gifted scorer and should help boost Texas A&M’s perimeter player. Eubanks is a strong, physical wing that is capable of going off the bounce for buckets or making catch and shoot jumpers from the three-point arc.
