Four-star center Gorjok Gak verbally committed to Travis Ford and Oklahoma State late Tuesday evening, he told Scout.
"[It's a] perfect playing style for me and felt like home on my official visit," Gak said when asked about his decision.
Gak, a 6-foot-11 center out of Bradenton (Fla.) Victory Rock Prep, picked the Pokes over strong interest from a host of high major programs including Florida. Gak said he and Ford have built a strong bond.
"I have a great relationship with him," Gak said. "He is a great coach and family person and he has developed some great players."
Gak is a defensivie specialist that is known for his aiblily to block shots. He also moves well and has some potential on the offensive end. Gak ranks No. 22 at the center position in the 2016 class.
Oklahoma State now has four pledges in their 2016 recruiting class.
Gak joins No. 100 recruit Lindy Water, energetic power forward Cameron McGriff and shooting threat Thomas Dziagwa to make up their current recruiting class.
