Top 25 PF T.J. Leaf commits to UCLA, cements Top 5 class for Bruins

The class of 2016's 22nd ranked prospect is off the board, as five-star power forward T.J. Leaf has committed to UCLA.

UCLA has wrapped up one of the best recruiting classes in the country.

T.J. Leaf, a 6-foot-10, 205-pound power forward from El Cajon (Calif.) Foothills Christian, announced his decision to commit to the Bruins on Thursday.

Scout’s 22nd ranked prospect in 2016, the one-time Arizona commit chose UCLA over finalists Oregon and San Diego State.

This is a massive commitment for UCLA head coach Steve Alford and staff. Leaf gives the Bruins not only a player that bumps its recruiting class to 4th nationally in 2016, but a skilled forward who can play inside and out.

Leaf joins elite passer Lonzo Ball elite defender Ike Anigbogu and scorer Kobe Paras in the Bruins’ 2016 recruiting class.
