2016 NorCal SF Oscar Frayer decommits from Cal

2016 Bay Area small forward Oscar Frayer announced on Thursday that he has decommitted from California.

Oscar Frayer has opened up his recruitment after making an early commitment to California.

The 6-foot-6, 185-pound 2016 small forward from Hayward (Calif.) Moreau Classic announced his decision via Twitter on Thursday.

Frayer committed to Cal in August of 2014, before his junior season of high school. The athletic forward plans on playing out his senior season before deciding on a new college.

"I will be looking for a family-oriented program, a program that fits my style of play," Frayer told Scout. "It does not matter if the program is established or not. The right fit is the number one thing I'm looking for."

Frayer feels he has plenty to offer a college program.

"I bring athleticism on the perimeter, a good defensive IQ and also the will and want to get better every day," Frayer said. "I get out in transition and have the ability to knock down open shots at a consistent rate."
