Australian big man Harry Froling is gearing up to take college visits, he told Scout.
Froling, a four-star prospect, will start things off with an official visit to SMU, where his twin sisters currently play for the women;s team. Froling will visit with Larry Brown and his staff January 5th through the 7th.
The 6-foot-10 post player will then head to Illinois the 10th and 11th, Arizona the 13th and 14th and close things out at Wisconsin on the 16th and 17th.
"[I'm] leaving my fifth [visit] open just in case," Froling told Scout.
Froling said SMU has been over to see him three times. Illinois has been over to see him as well. All four of the schools he's set to visit have offered Froling a scholarship. Arizona State, Texas A&M and UNLV are also involved in his recruitment.
Shortly after taking his scheduled visits, Froling, who went to Centre of Excellence and is now playing for the Townsville Crocodiles, will look to make his college choice.
"Probably in the week after visits," he said when asked about a decision timeframe.
Froling also told Scout that he was invited to participate in the Basketball Without Borders event in Toronto during all-star weekend.
