2017 combo forward Tyler Polley was one of the breakout prospects of the Tarkanian Classic, which was held at Bishop Gorman High School.
While Polley is a known name from his time playing with Each 1 Teach 1 on the travel team circuit, he appears to have improved and picked up some steam as a player since the spring and summer.
Playing for Adam Ross and Weston (Fla.) Sagemont, Polley showed versatility and tremendous touch on his jump shot and short-range shots on Thursday against Prestonwood Christian.
At 6-foot-7, Polley has a long, wiry frame. He’s mobile and moves fluidly. At this point, Polley is somewhere between a face up forward and wing and could be effectively used at both spots when he gets to the next level.
Which schools stick out to Polley?
“Florida State, Georgia and UAB,” he said.
“They text me everyday and let me know how their games are going,” he added about FSU. “They check up on me. Wake Forest too.”
Polley has yet to take any college visits.
