One of the West Coast's top wing prospects in 2018 is Kevin Porter, a 6-foot-5, 190-pound sophomore from Seattle Rainier Beach.
The athletic and versatile Porter can score from all three levels due to his size, length, handle and jumper, but is also capable of using his vision to create for others.
"I'm a scorer and I rebound really well," Porter said. "I'm working on my defense because I don't want to just be a good offensive player; I want to be a good defensive player too. I'm working on my footwork so I can be quicker.
"I'm playing well but I can play better. I can help the team more and I can do better, I know that."
Porter holds two offers, with other programs showing interest
Washington has put a lot of work into Porter, which has paid off.
"I go to their games and like how they're play," said Porter. "I have a good relationship with coach (Lorenzo) Romar."
Porter told Scout in July that Washington was his dream school, something that will only aid the Huskies in this recruitment.
"As of now, Washington is probably the best fit for me but I'm only a sophomore so I'm still weighing my options," he said. "My family wants me to wait."
