One of the players who has really emerged as a high level wing in the 2017 class this season is Brandon Randolph. He Westtown school product is finally healthy, and he is proving to be one of the best in the country, and college coaches are beginning to take notice.
“Everything has been going well,” said Randolph of the season. “I’ve been learning a lot and becoming a better leader. Also I think I have really improved as a passer.”
Due to his strong play Randolph has seen an increase in his stock in the eyes of scouts as well as coaches, and following a long rehab after a leg injury in the spring that is huge for him.
“It has definitely been fun,” said Randolph of the increased attention. “I was rehabbing from my injury all summer, so it has been great to have all this new attention.”
On the recruiting trail some new programs are really turning up the heat.
“I’ve gotten calls from Notre Dame, Maryland, Temple, and other interest like that,” said Randolph.
When it comes to the next step in his recruitment, and what he plans to do going forward, Randolph said, “I just want to check out all of my options and see who offers, and I am open to anything.”
For now Randolph is just beginning the recruiting process. Instead of focusing on that, he has his eyes set on this season and getting better.
“I just want to help my team win and that is the biggest thing,” noted Randolph.
