2018 PF Warren Washington holds one offer

Warren Washington is a promising young power forward out of the San Diego area who already has one scholarship offer.

One of the most intriguing young posts on the west in 2018 comes from Escondido (Calif.) in 6-foot-9, 180-pound power forward Warren Washington.

The slight but athletic post can face up and shoot, handles deceptively well with a quick first step and is a good passer. He’ll need to get stronger but he’s got a high upside.

“I think I bring everything to the game; passing, scoring, defending, blocking and rebounding; I can do it all,” Washington said. “I feel like I'm a great team player.”

So far, Washington has picked up one offer, with a couple schools showing interest.

Nevada has offered and I'm getting looks from Cal and Boise State,” he said.

It’s very early in Washington’s recruitment, but he’s pleased with the offer from Nevada.

“I like the campus,” Washington said. “I think it's a great state, school and academics.”
