Five-star Kobi Simmons will announce his college choice on Saturday at the Hoop Hall Classic, he told Scout.
On Tuesday, Simmons narrowed his list of choices to Arizona, Kentucky and Ohio State. Simmons has taken visits to Kentucky and Ohio State. Kentucky has since added a point guard to their 2016 recruiting class.
Simmons, a standout at Alpharetta (Ga.) St. Francis, plays against Highland (Utah) Lone Peak at 12:30 during the prestigious event.
A 6-foot-5, 170-pound guard, Simmons is regarded as the No. 18 overall prospect and the No. 6 point guard in the 2016 recruiting class.
"Kobi is an elite scorer with good size and athleticism," Scout analyst Brian Snow said about his game. "Capable of playing on or off the ball, Simmons brings versatility on both ends and when focused is one of the most productive players in the class."
Simmons played with the Atlanta Celtics during spring and summer ball.
