Three-star combo guard Jamir Moultrie is someone who can put points up in a hurry or get others involved. Having a solid junior season, Moultrie continues to add major interest and is trying to improve his game.
“The season has been good,” said Moultrie. “We’ve taken a few tough losses, but we are getting back on the right track and starting to play well as a team.”
He continued about the year, “I’ve been working on getting my teammates more involved and being vocal on the court.”
On the recruiting side of things, several schools are making Moultrie a priority.
“I am hearing a lot from Kansas State, Memphis, USC, and Clemson,” said Moultrie.
When it comes to USC, Moultrie said, “They say they like my game and want to see me more. I am just taking that and trying to get better each game.”
About Kansas State, he added, “They say they definitely like me and they are going to keep recruiting me very hard.”
Moultrie hasn’t indicated any specific timetable for a commitment, but he does know what he will be looking for in a school when it does come time to choose a college.
“Definitely I want to have a good relationship with the coaches and a style of play that fits my game,” said Moultrie.
