The first thing that was evident when watching Tyson Jolly, who opted to do a post graduate season at Delray Beach (Fla.) Elev-8, earlier in the year was his added strength. It was clear he'd spent time in the weight room and getting in great physical condition.
Jolly, who is averaging 19 points, 6.0 rebounds and 4.5 assists a game, is a good athlete that plays tough, physical and should provided an instant lift at California with his perimeter defense. He moves feet well laterally and has good length and instincts.
Jolly has also shown improvement to his middle game, where he's capable of knocking down pull-ups or floaters. His coach -- Chad Myers -- told Scout that's been the biggest improvement to his game since he arrived on campus.
