Versatile 2017 SoCal SG Juhwan Harris-Dyson making progress

Juhwan Harris-Dyson is using an impressive junior season to up his stock in 2017, with one offer already in and multiple other programs showing interest.

One of the top sleepers on the west in 2017 comes from Northridge (Calif.) Heritage Christian in 6-foot-4, 190-pound guard Juhwan Harris-Dyson.

The versatile shooting guard is able to play on and off the ball due to his size, length, athleticism, slashing ability and feel.

"I see myself as a lead guard," Harris-Dyson said. "I'm a two-guard but can play on the ball. If I can't score I'm going to look for my teammates to score. I get to the basket and find my teammates when they're open."

Over the last year, Harris-Dyson has improved his jumper and further development there will only improve his stock.

"I'm in the gym working on my game," he said. "I play so fast I always just went to the basket so now I'm slowing down and shooting jumpers more."

The junior holds an offer from UC Davis, with Pepperdine, Santa Clara and Utah State showing interest. Look for that list to quickly expand once more schools see Harris-Dyson in action.

"I'm looking for a place where I fit and I'll be able to come in right away and play," Harris-Dyson said. "I'm open to anything right now."
