Alpha Diallo is about to set up visits

Forward Alpha Diallo is getting ready to set visits, and has some quality options in hot pursuit.

One of the best remaining unsigned prospects in the class of 2016 is Alpha Diallo. After having an excellent season at Brewster Academy, Diallo is about to begin setting visits and formalizing his college decision.

“The season went pretty well,” said Diallo. “We didn’t finish how we wanted, but it was a great run with a great group of guys.”

He continued, “I focused on all aspects of my game. Also I was focused on getting stronger while being a better shooter and ball handler.”

Currently VCU, Florida, South Carolina, Providence, Alabama, Georgia Tech, Connecticut, and Kansas seem to be the schools showing the most interest in Diallo.

About his recruitment, Diallo said, “I will be setting up visits after the Final Four.  I’m still open and more schools are coming in, but I have been hearing from most of the same schools as before.”

At the moment Diallo is content taking things slow. He wants to gain as much information as he can about all of the schools, and he has a good idea of what he will be looking for in a program when the time comes to make a choice.

“We are looking for fit, good coaching, and things like that,” noted Diallo. “Location isn’t a big deal to me, just looking for the right fit.”

Look for Diallo to make several visits before coming to a college decision as he wants to be sure of his choice before making a final call.
