"It was a great opportunity for me and for my family to be able to see me play," Jolly told Scout. "I loved the coaches and how I was made a priority from day one and not just another scholarship to be filled."
"I enjoyed hanging out with the players and they did nothing but [say] good things about coach [Scott] Drew and the rest of the staff," he added. "I felt comfortable there and I feel and know that I will be able to come in and make a impact as a freshman offensively and defensively."
Jolly originally signed with California, but asked out of his Letter of Intent in mid-March. Jolly took an official visit to Baylor this past weekend.
A 6-foot-4 guard, Jolly also received significant interest from Oklahoma State and a host of other schools.
Jolly, who spent his senior season at Delray Beach (Fla.) Elev-8 Academy, is ranked as Scout's No. 24 recruit at the shooting guard position.
