Power forward KeyShawn Feazell is someone who is beginning to emerge on the national radar. Playing with the Jackson Tigers this summer, Feazell is someone who could reel in plenty of high-major offers with his combination of size and athleticism.
Always considered someone with a lot of potential, Feazell is now beginning to capitalize on it, and has been working hard on his game.
“I have been working on my inside and my outside game so I can mix it up and be more versatile,” said Feazell.
On the recruiting trail things have been picking up for Feazell.
“I’ve been hearing mostly from Iowa State, Mississippi State, Georgia, Ole Miss, Kansas State, and Baylor,” he noted.
Iowa State was the most recent offer, and Feazell is intrigued by what the Cyclones are saying to him.
“I talked to them last week and we had a conversation about how I would fit in the program,” noted Feazell. “They had a lot of seniors leave, so I would have an opportunity to play.”
The in-state Mississippi State Bulldogs have also picked things up recently and are telling Feazell he is a top target for them.
“They tell me they want me really bad,” said Feazell. “They want a big guy who is athletic and can shoot the ball.”
For now nothing is set in stone, but Feazell does know at least one school he wants to make a visit to.
“I’m planning to go to Iowa State for a visit, but we don’t have a date,” noted Feazell.
