Class of 2018 PG/SG Immanuel Quickley showed big time talent in Dallas

DUCANVILLE, Tex - Five-star class of 2018 prospect Immanuel Quickley showed big time ability on Saturday evening at the adidas Gauntlet.

One of the top 2018 guards in the country is Immanuel Quickley. The Baltimore Elite product is on the adidas Gauntlet circuit this summer and put on an impressive performance on Saturday night.

While Quickley has had a reputation as a big time scorer, it was actually his passing that stood out the most. Quickley showed incredible floor vision to go along with a great feel for the game all game long.

“I try to work on everything,” said Quickley. “I still work on offense, but my focus is being better off the ball and on defense.”

When it comes to his recruitment several big time schools are already in the mix for Quickley.

“I have six offers including Washington, Cincinnati, Rhode Island, and USC,” said Quickley. “Also Duke has been interested, Kansas, and a lot of other high-major schools.”

In terms of visits, Quickley said, “I went to the Maryland game, Duke’s midnight madness, and a I saw a practice at UNC as well.”

About the Maryland visit, Quickley said, “The atmosphere was amazing. It is my hometown so it is great to have them in my recruitment.”

When it comes to Duke and North Carolina, Quickley responded, “Duke and North Carolina are both big time schools with great coaches, so it is great to hear from them.”

For now Quickley is in no hurry to make a college decision. While no commitment is imminent, Quickley does now what he is looking for in a school.

“I am just looking for somewhere that first and foremost is a great academic school and then also somewhere where I would be able to showcase my ability to hopefully play at the highest level,” said Quickley.
