A class of 2018 prospect from the state of Indiana that is picking up steam is Eric Hunter. An athletic and talented guard, Hunter is running with Gary Harris Elite during this spring, and is beginning to make a name for himself.
“The high school season went really well,” said Hunter. “We grew a lot as a team, and personally I got a lot better. We got to the regional championship so that was good.”
He continued, “Lately I have been working on my body to get stronger. I am trying to add muscle so I can finish better in the lane and continue to make plays.”
When it comes to his recruitment, Hunter is someone who has put himself on the radar of numerous schools, and should draw the attention of many others as the spring goes along.
“Right now I am hearing from West Virginia, Iowa, Xavier, Indiana State, Ball State, Indiana, Bradley, and a few other schools,” said Hunter.
He went on, “Before school started I went down to Hoosier Hysteria, and I plan to make more visits in June.”
At the moment Hunter is just at the beginning stages of his recruitment. Schools are evaluating him and he is just now forming relationships. He does however know what he will be looking for in a school when the time comes to make a decision.
“I just look for somewhere that I would see myself fitting in and what kind of relationship the coaches have with me,” said Hunter.
Look for Hunter to become one of the more heavily recruited prospects in the state of Indiana in 2018 before it is all said and done.
