Deshawn Corprew makes college choice

Texas A&M added their third pledge of the 2016 recruiting class on Tuesday, as Deshawn Corprew pledged following his visit.

Three-star guard DeShawn Corprew verbally committed to Billy Kennedy and Texas A&M over the weekend and made it official on Tuesday, he told Scout.

The 6-foot-4 guard out of Winston-Salem (N.C.) Quality Education took an official visit to Texas A&M over the weekend.

Throughout the recruitment, Corprew has had a wide range of college interest. He committed to Arkansas State back in September, but picked up a a number of high major scholarship offers during the season.

A 6-foot-5 guard, Corprew is tough, athletic and a capable shot maker from distance. Corprew is ranked as the No. 22 small forward in the class.

Texas A&M now has three recruits in their 2016 recruiting. Corprew joins four-star prospects J.J. Caldwell and Robert Williams to make up their class.
