The Wisconsin Badgers are getting things going in a good direction with their 2017 class. They received an early commitment from in-state standout Kobe King, and on Wednesday Greg Gard and his staff got more good news when Nathan Reuvers picked the school. The versatile power forward is having a great spring for D1 Minnesota, and had his choice of offers.
In the end Wisconsin won out for Reuvers over schools such as Minnesota, DePaul, Creighton, Harvard. Reuvers was a legacy for Notre Dame, but the Irish didn't come forward with an offer.
While on an unofficial visit Reuvers decided that Wisconsin was the right place for him.
He announced his decision via social media saying, "Beyond blessed to announce my commitment to further my education and basketball career at Wisconsin."
Reuvers is the latest player from the state of Minnesota to make his way to Madison. The Badgers have had a lot of success from the state including guys like Jordan Taylor and Jon Leuer.
Look for Reuvers to potentially crack the top 100 when rankings are updated following following the big events over Memorial Day weekend.
