Charlie Moore commits to California

Charlie Moore has committed to California.

Four-star point guard Charlie Moore will play his college basketball career at California for Cuonzo Martin, he told Scout.

"I have a great relationship with the coaching staff and I feel it's where i can succeed and so [will] the team," Moore said.

Moore originally committed to Memphis, but when Josh Pastner left for Georgia Tech, Moore, a 5-foot-11 point guard, opted to open up his recruitment.

The second time around, Moore considered Pastner and Georgia Tech, as well as LSU and SMU, but opted for California on Wednesday. Moore, who visited California in the fall, cited a strong relationship with Martin.

"I have a great relationship with him," he said.

Moore ranks as the No. 65 overall prospect and the No. 17 point guard in the 2017 class. †
