Top 100 PF Romello White signs with Arizona State

Bobby Hurley reeled in his third four-star prospect of the 2016 recruiting class on Wednesday with the addition of Romello White.

Four-star power forward Romello White has signed with Bobby Hurley and Arizona State, he told Scout.

"Everything about it," White said when asked about this decision to go to ASU. "The school is great. The stadium is amazing. I love it. Their coaches aren’t going anywhere. I’m going to get a lot of minutes and I feel like I can help the team out a lot."

"We went out there on an official visit and when we went on the visit he really liked the coaching," Catrece Martinez, White's mother, said. "They are one big happy family. He just enjoyed it. The coaching staff being as a close as they are played a big part in it."

White originally signed with the Brian Gregory’s staff at Georgia Tech. When Josh Pastner took over the program, White opted out of his Letter of Intent and he received his release last week.

Arizona State immediately got White, a 6-foot-9, 220-pound prospect, on campus for an official visit.  White signed with ASU on Wednesday.

What are the Sun Devils getting in White?

"A winning attitude, a will to win and playing hard," he said.

Arizona State now has a trio of four-star prospects. White joins top 50 wing Sam Cunliffe, 6-foot-10 big man Jethro Tshisumpa and Ukranian forward Vitaliy Shibel to make up their current class.

With the addition, the Sun Devils move into Scout's 2016 top 25 class rankings at No. 21 overall.
