Four-star Naji Marshall continues to make improvements to his game and that was evident in California at the Under Armour Association on Saturday.
Marshall, a standout at Washington (D.C.) Roosevelt, has been blessed with an impressive basketball frame, as he stands 6-foot-6, has a lengthy set of arms and his body is already starting to fill out.
That type of frame, mixed with his athleticism, helps him when he attacks the basket, which is among his best strengths. Marshall is tough, physical and aggressive when he has opportunities to get to the basket.
In a match up with Showtime Hoops, Marshall did a good job of finishing through contact and making plays at the rim. He also competed on defense, recorded deflections and made a handful of impressive passes in transition.
Marshall finished the game 6-for-13 from the field, scoring 19 points and reeling in five rebounds. Marshall currently ranked No. 11 in the Under Armour Association at 16.1 points a game.
Marshall is currently regarded as an unranked four-star prospect, but that will soon change and he's earned a bump into Scout's 2017 top 100.
