Upon his return from the summer circuit, Yelovich was happy to hear from a number of schools. "As soon as I got back Indiana State offered me," Yelovich said. In addition to the Sycamore, Yelovich said Illinois State, UNC-Wilmington, Southern Illinois and Ball State are recruiting him.
So far, just Indiana State has set forth an offer but others are sure to follow.
"I need to visit all of them first and see if I like it and then just go from there."
With some of top mid-major programs in the nation chasing him, Yelovich knows that playing time should be available to him. Programs at the high-major level might not offer the same opportunities.
"I'd like to go higher but if I'm just going to sit the bench at a bigger school I'm not going to do that."
UNC-Wilmington has talked about a September visit date but it hasn't been set yet. In fact, none of his official visits have been set to date.
