Terrence Lewis continues to add high-major interest

Wing prospect Terrence Lewis showed off his impressive versatility at the NBPA Top 100 Camp and continues to add recruiting attention.

Athletic wing Terrence Lewis has had a very strong spring playing with Playground Elite on the AAU circuit. The 6-foot-6 Lewis has a ton of versatility to him, and made a solid impression at the NBPA Top 100 Camp over the weekend.

“I have enjoyed the camp,” Lewis explained. “Being with all of the other top players has been great. Also it has been great to talk to the current and former pros and just get advice.”

When it comes to his recruitment Lewis has a long list of schools, and new coaches are continually working to get involved in this recruitment.

“I have been talking to Auburn, Oregon, Xavier, Iowa State, Minnesota, and a few others,” said Lewis. “They all just keep in touch to see how I have been.”

He continued about his recruitment, “This summer me and my parents are hoping to get to Auburn, Oregon, Xavier, and Iowa State.”

Oregon is a school that has recently stepped up its interest in Lewis, and the Ducks have made an impression on him.

“I like how they play at a fast pace and get up and down the floor,” said Lewis. “Also they play together well as a team. I have watched them and I like how they play.”

Another school strongly entering the mix is Auburn. Bruce Pearl has long standing ties to the state of Wisconsin, and is very intrigued with Lewis.

“They say that I have a high motor as a player and they like that I can get my teammates involved, and I think I could be the type of player I know that I can be there,” said Lewis of Auburn.

Maybe the school that has been recruiting Lewis the longest is Iowa State, and the Cyclones continue to make a good impression on him.

“My relationship with the coaches is very strong,” said Lewis. “I like the campus and the people. It is just off the charts, and they feel like I am a part of the family already.”

For now expect Lewis to go through the summer and see who all is heavily interested, and then make visits following the July evaluation period before issuing a commitment.
