FIBA u17: 1 on 1 with 5-star Emmanuel Akot

ZARAGOZA, Spain -- Emmanuel Akot, a 6-foot-6 wing out of Wasatch Academy, talked to Scout at the FIBA u17 World Championships about his game and recent scholarship offers.

Evaluation Notes:

Emmanuel Akot moved up to a five-star recruit in the past two weeks and he certainly showed bright spots in Spain at the FIBA u17 World Championships.

Akot has good size for a wing prospect at 6-foot-6. He's long, has a strong body and is a quality athlete. Akot is a good slasher that scores it well at the basket. Although a streaky shooter at this stage, Akot impressed with his shooting, particularly in one of our viewings where he connected on all three of his three-point attempts.

Through three games in the World Championships, Akot is averaging 10.3 points and 2.7 rebounds a game, while averaging just 16 minutes a game.
