Prentiss Hubb's phone has been busy since June 15

WALNUT CREEK, Ca - Four-star class of 2018 point guard Prentiss Hubb continues to develop at the Steph Curry Select Camp while college coaches make it known he will be a top priority in July.

Four-star class of 2018 prospect Prentiss Hubb has long been considered one of the top floor generals in the DMV area. Now he is one of the best in the country regardless of class, and Hubb’s phone has been very busy with recruiting while also taking time out for big time opportunities like the Steph Curry Select Camp.

“It is a great time to be here,” said Hubb of the camp. “There is a lot of competition and it is an honor to play against the best guards in the country and learn from Steph Curry.”

The first day that college coaches could begin contacting Hubb directly was June 15, and since then his phone has remained quite busy.

“It has been a lot,” said Hubb of the phone calls. “I have had a few calls from schools like Kansas, Marquette, Maryland, and the other schools that have offered me.”

The school many have focused on so far with Hubb is Maryland. It is close to home and the Terrapins have made sure to make Hubb a priority.

About the Terrapins, Hubb said, “We just talk about how they are going to recruit me as hard as they can and how they want me to be there as much as possible. Also they say how they will always be watching me all July long.”

Kansas is a bit of a newer school to reach out to Hubb, but the Jayhawks have definitely piqued his interest.

“They are showing interest and say they liked how I played in the past on the circuit,” said Hubb of the Jayhawks. “It is definitely a school that interests me.”

For now don’t look for Hubb to rush into a decision. He plans to play through July with DC Premier on the Under Armour Association before seeing who is all interested and probably making some unofficial visits.
