Center Moses Brown showed big time ability at the UA Finals

CARTERSVILLE, GA - Center Moses Brown appears to have a nearly unlimited upside, and he is showing that potential at the Under Armour Finals.

Class of 2018 center Moses Brown is one of the most intriguing prospects around. He has a tremendous combination of size and skill with major long term upside. Brown is definitely still a work in progress, but the big man keeps improving, and has shown well for himself at the Under Armour Finals.

“It has been a good July,” said Brown. “I went to the Under Armour All-American Camp which was a great experience. I got to train against and with pros, so there was great competition, and I felt I got a lot better.”

He continued, “I am just trying to get more physical and rebound the ball better while also working on my offense.”

Playing up on the 17 and under level, Brown has been attracting huge crowds of coaches.

“Maryland, St. John’s, Kentucky, Dayton, Arizona, Seton Hall, Miami, Connecticut, Minnesota, just a lot of schools have come out,” said Brown.

Maryland offered Brown when he made an unofficial visit to the school.

About the Terrapins, Brown said, “I like them a lot. They have a state of the art weight room and facilities. Also their big men develop a lot. They showed me a video about how their bigs have developed since coming into the program, and it was a good visit in general.”

Also recently Brown attended the St. John’s Elite Camp, and he came away impressed.

“That was a real good experience,” Brown explained. “A lot of the top kids in the city were there so I got to play against my friends, and it was just a lot of fun.”

While Brown says he isn’t yet close to a decision, he does know what he will be looking for in a school when the time comes to decide.

“I am looking for a school that has had pros and can develop me into a pro. Also I look for a place that will allow me to get my degree and be successful after basketball.
