Three early offers for 2019 Utah PG Rylan Jones

Rylan Jones is one of the West Coast's top point guards in 2019. Three schools have already offered the rising sophomore.

It's very early evaluating the 2019 class but one of the top point guards on the West Coast at this stage is 6-foot, 150-pound Logan (Utah)'s Rylan Jones.

Jones was impressive last week at the West Coast Elite Summer Classic playing for Exum Elite, as he has the ball skills, vision, basketball IQ, quickness and shooting ability to be a high major point guard.

“I'm a floor general, passer and shooter,” Jones said. “I defend and I think I do everything pretty well. I'm working on my pull-up, my quickness, speed and everything.”

It hasn’t taken long for schools to realize what kind of player Jones is, as he already holds offers from Utah, BYU and Utah State.

Rylan, whose father Chris Jones is an assistant at Utah State, broke down what he likes about the three programs which have offered.

Utah: “I love coach (Larry) Krystkowiak and how they play. I love going to their games; they're fun to watch.”

BYU: “I like their playing style a lot too; they're fun to watch. The games are fun.”

Utah State: “I know everything about them. Their crowd is the best in the country when they get it rolling in there. It's the best.”

At this point Jones is much more concerned with his game than his recruitment.

“I'll just let it come to me,” he said.
