Las Vegas: Wisconsin pledge continues to improve

LAS VEGAS -- On the first day of the adidas Summer Championship, Wisconsin pledge Nathan Reuvers took over in a win over Team Loaded VA on the main court of the Cashman Center.

Nathan Reuvers' game continues to develop and that was evident on the opening day of the final evaluation period.

The Wisconsin pledge was aggressive on offense in a match up against Team Loaded VA, who has a formidable frontline with a pair of future high major post players.

Reuver was especially effective in pick and pop situations, as he knocked down three three-pointers. He’s a confident shooter with good shot mechanics and range. Reuvers is equipped with a very good set of hands and nice touch around the basket.

Although he’s lacking in strength, he’s not afraid to mix it up and plays hard on both ends of the floor. At 6-foot-9, he has good length, which allows him to affect shot attempts.

Reuvers finished with 22 points on 7-for-14 shooting and five rebounds in the win.
